Die Fachschaft Architektur der Leibniz Universität Hannover hat uns eingeladen den morgen stattfinden Vortrag von Andrea Zanderigo, im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe di6, zu besuchen!
„Baukuh is an architecture studio based in Milan, Genoa and Venice. The studio was founded in 2004 and is currently run by Paolo Carpi, Silvia Lupi, Vittorio Pizzigoni, Giacomo Summa, Pier Paolo Tamburelli and Andrea Zanderigo. The office considers itself both as a traditional architectural practice, and as an office that proposes experiments to understand the contemporary urban environment. Baukuh is the founder of the architectural magazine San Rocco.
Working without a hierarchical structure or a stylistic dogma, baukuh produces architecture out of a rational and explicit design process. This process is based on a critical understanding of the architecture of the past. Baukuh produces projects that are strongly layered and contextual, that create new meaningful places in the city. A recent example is the ‚House of Memory‘ in Milan.
