Based in Zagreb STUDIO UP (formed by Toma Plejić and Lea Pelivan in
2003) concerns itself with contemporary architecture and urbanism.
Inspite of its young age the office boosts an impressive rooster of
built, awardwinning work of which the most notable is the 2009 Mies
Van Der Rohe Prize for their Gymnasium in Koprivnica (2007). STUDIO UP
represented Croatia at the Venice Biennale with the ‚Frameworks’
pavilion in 2004 and with the floating pavilion in 2010. In addition
STUDIO UP participated at Shenzhen & Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of
Urbanism and Architecture with Gizmo pavilion for the ‘Ultra LightVillage’ Exhibition in 2012.
